Honoring Veterans Day: A Message from our Founder
On Veterans Day, we pause to honor those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. November 11th holds special meaning—it marks the day when, over a century ago, World War I officially ended. The armistice went in effect on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918, bringing peace after years of conflict and sacrifice.
Originally named Armistice Day, this day was later changed to Veterans Day to honor not only those who served in World War I but all veterans who have dedicated themselves to our country’s safety and freedom.
At Moore Legal Counsel, we are deeply grateful to veterans and their families. Veterans embody values we all hold dear—courage, resilience, and selflessness—and they continue to inspire us in our work and in our communities.
To all veterans, thank you for your service. We recognize your sacrifices and honor your commitment. This November 11th, and every day, we appreciate you.
